We do not accept unvaccinated dogs (including kennel cough) at Nipstone Boarding Kennels. For dogs that have been newly vaccinated against  Kennel Cough (including where the vaccination has expired) this should have been done at least two weeks prior to the start of your booking. Dogs’ vaccination certificates must be presented on arrival each time your dog is brought to the kennels.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept dogs that, in the opinion of a member of our staff, are unwell. Please notify us before you bring your dog in, of any recent or current illnesses or injuries. Please note, any veterinary fees incurred during your dog’s stay may be charged to you.

Dogs may be dropped off or collected at anytime during our opening hours although after 10.30 is preferred. We will not receive dogs or permit their collection outside of our opening hours.

Dogs may be collected at an earlier date than has been booked however we reserve the right to charge for the full booked period.

We understand that circumstances change and you may need to cancel your booking. We ask that you give us a minimum of seven days’ notice. If you do not notify us of a cancellation we reserve the right to invoice you in full. During busy periods, a non-refundable deposit may be required when a booking is made.

Where you wish your dog to share a kennel with another dog from your family, it is your responsibility to ensure that this arrangement is suitable. We reserve the right to separate dogs and charge accordingly if we believe that it is necessary

Large dogs that cannot be safely controlled on a lead will not be walked but will be exercised in our secure exercise area. This is for the safety of both your dog and our staff.

You are welcome to bring toys, bedding or other items with your dog. However we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage. It would be helpful if you could provide a list of your dogs belongings if there are more than one or two items. This will save time when booking in.

Dog owners have, by law, to ensure that whenever their dog goes out into a public place it must wear a collar, with the contact details of the owner clearly marked. Even if your dog is chipped or tattooed, you are still required by law to provide your dog with a collar bearing the correct identification mark. This law is part of the Control of Dogs Order 1992. Failure to comply with this law can result in a fine. We will not walk dogs off our premises if they do not have a collar and tag. They will either be exercised on our land or in our secure exercise area.

Any dog not collected after 14 days from the end of the original booking period will become the property of Nipstone Boarding Kennels unless agreement has been reached with the owner or their representative to extend the booking period. After this period the dog may, at our discretion, be re-homed. Boarding fees will be payable for the full period that the dog is in our care.
